#ConHuaweiP8 . Collaboration with HUAWEI. Video 1

I was contacted before summer by ISOBAR to ask me if I would like to make a collaboration with HUAWEI. It was about filming a video entirely on the new Huawei P8. It was a selection process in which only two people from Madrid would be chosen for this work. It was a hard task, I had to figure out an idea and then explain it via email, video and Skype calls. They liked my idea and the passion with which I defended it, and I was finally chosen, together with photgrapher Lucía Fernández. 

My idea was to combine two of my passions: Madrid and the reflections. A proffessional filming crew came from London and we spent two days together, the first day visiting the locations I suggested and the second filming the video. 

We focused it also on the "Director Mode",a new and awesome feature on the new P8 which enables to shoot simultaneously up to four different devices, from four different angles, in real time, the same scene, while one person, the director, choses in real time which video he wants to record, deciding on the final edit. 

The video went finally life yesterday. It was a hard task, but I´m very proud of it. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed the whole process. I would like to deeply thank ISOBAR U.K., ISOBAR Spain and HUAWEI for thinking on me for this collaboration.

Me contactaron de la agencia ISOBAR antes del verano para preguntarme si me gustaría hacer una colaboración con HUAWEI. Se trataba de rodar un vídeo exclusivamente con el nuevo Huawei P8. Era un proceso de selección en el que sólo dos personas de Madrid serían elegidas para este trabajo. Fue un trabajo duro. Tuve que pensar una idea, y luego explicarla via email, vídeo y Skype. Parece que les gustó, así como la pasión con que la defendí, y finalmente fui elegido junto a la fotógrafa Lucía Fernández.

Mi idea consistía en combinar dos de mis pasiones: Madrid y los reflejos. Un equipo de rodaje profesional vino de Londres y estuvimos juntos dos días, el primero visitando las localizaciones que propuse, y el segundo rodando el vídeo.

Nos centramos en el "Modo Director", una nueva característica del nuevo P8 que permite grabar simultáneamente desde un máximo de cuatro dispositivos, desde cuatro ángulos diferentes, en tiempo real, la misma escena, mientra que una persona, actuando como director, puede decidir en tiempo real qué video quiere grabar, decidiendo el montaje final.

El vídeo vió finalmente la luz ayer. Ha sido un trabajo duro, pero estoy muy orgullosos. Espero que lo disfruteis tanto como yo difruté todo el proceso. Quiero expresar mi profundo agradecimiento a ISOBAR U.K, ISOBAR España y HUAWEI por haber pensado en mi para esta colaboración.
