Dias Medievaes en Castro Marim, Portugal. August 2013

Every summer, by the end of August, there´s a three days celebration in Castro Marim, Portugal, called: "Dias Medievaes", that is to say, "Medieval Days". 

During these three days, the whole village turns back to the Middle Ages, with its two castles opened to the public. There are tournaments, dances, people dressed like in those centuries. You can eat roast beef, and drink wine on a mug. You can even change € into "reales".

It is really very funny.I´ve been visiting it for the past three years with my family, and will keep on visiting as long as I spend my holidays in Ayamonte , just a few kilometres from there.. 

Todos los años, a finales de agosto, hay unas fiestas de tres días en Castro Marim, Portugal, llamada: "Dias Medievaes". 

Durante esos tres días, todo el pueblo vuelve a la Edad Media, con sus dos castillos abiertos al público. Hay torneos, bailes, gente vestida como en aquella época. se puede comer carne hecha e hogueras, beber vino en jarras de barro. Se puede incluso cambiar los € por "reales".

Es realmente muy divertida. La llevo visitando los últimos tres años con mi familia, y seguiré yendo mientras siga veraneando en Ayamonte, el cual se encuentra sólo a unos pocos kilómetros de allí.
