Admiring El Salvador church, in La Villa, Ayamonte. August 2014

One afternoon, in August, I visited the house that my friend, neighbour and collegue Raúl was about to finish building in the place called La Villa, in the upper part of Ayamonte, a magnificent white house, of two stories plus cellar. The main idea of the project is the presence of the church El Salvador. The house cpatures the Light, which comes inside mainly from the roof, but it also tends to direct the owner´s regard towards the square in front, and the church. I was lucky enough to visit it in a moment of magical light, around 8 p.m. Both photographs were shot from inside the house.

Una tarde de agosto fue a ver la casa que mi amigo, vecino y colega Raúl está terminando en la zona de La Villa, en la parte alta de Ayamonte, una magnífica casa blanca, de dos alturas más sótanos. Como idea generadora del proyecto está la presencia de la iglesia de El Salvador. La casa busca la luz, introducida principalmente de forma cenital, pero también busca dirigir la mirada del habitante hacia la plaza y su iglesia. Tuve la fortuna de visitarla en un momento de luz mágica, hacia las 20h. Ambas fotos fueron hechas desde el interior de la casa.
