Edificio Capitol, Gran Vía, Madrid. June 2012

This post contains only one picture, an image of one of my favorite buildings, the Capitol building (only in Spanish), in one of the most beautiful and important streets of Madrid, Gran Via. It is one of the most important buildings in Madrid, located in one of the most emblematic corners, with great presence, and it has been used as a backdrop for movies.

I like it a lot, but I had found the proper time to photograph it. However, the day I walked down Gran Via heading to Casa Decor in Plaza de España, when I was passing beside it I looked up, saw that wonderful cloudy sky, with sharp contrasts, and took the shot. I edited it only with Snapseed, seeking as main objective to highlight those clouds around it. I hope you like the picture as much as I do the building.

Esta post sólo contiene una foto, y es una imagen de uno de mis edificios favoritos, el edificio Capitol, en una de las calles más bonitas e importantes de Madrid, la Gran Vía. Es uno de los edificios más importantes de Madrid, situado en una de las esquinas más emblemáticas, con una gran presencia y ha sido usado como escenario en películas.

A mí me gusta muchísimo, y nunca había encontrado el momento ideal para fotografiarlo. Sin embrago, el día que bajaba por la Gran Vía camino de Casa Decor, en la plaza de España, al pasar por su lado, miré para arriba, ví ese maravilloso cielo nublado, con grandes contrastes, e hice la foto. La edité exclusivamente con Snapseed, buscando como objetivo principal resaltar esos nubarrones que lo rodeaban. Espero que os guste la foto tanto como a mí el edificio.
