Pictures shot a beautiful and cloudy Saturday afternoon, while walking with my family around Calle de Alcalá and Puerta del Sol. The fist picture was submitted to a photo contest about Madrid, and the jury did notconsider it worth awarding.

Fotos hechas una preciosa y nublada tarde de sábado, mientras daba un paseo con mi familia por la calle Alcalá y la Puerta del Sol. Presenté la primera foto a un concurso de fotografía sobre MAdrid, y el jurado no la consideró merecedora de premio alguno.

One of my pics has appeared in 500px´s Editor´s Choice

The photo that appeared last week on 500px´s Popular keeps on bringing me joy. I have received an email telling me that it has appeared in the Editor´s Choice section in 500px. I don´t know exactly what it means to appear in this section, but it can only be something good, so I´m very happy for it, and very proud at the same time.

La foto que estuvo la semana pasada en la sección Popular de 500px sigue trayñendome alegrías. He recibido un email diciéndome que aparece en la sección de 500px llamada La Elección del Editor. No sé exactamente qué significa aparecer en esta sección, pero sólo puede ser algo bueno, así que estoy muy feliz por ello, al mismo tiempo que em siento muy orgulloso.

I have decided that, from now on, I will post separately the photos of reflections on cars from those of reflections on buses. They both transmit different things, so I consider thay both deserve separate posts.

He decidido que, de ahora en adelante, voy a publicar por separado las fotos de reflejos en coches de aquellos reflejos en autobúses. Ambas transmiten cosas diferentes, por lo que considero que merecen diferentes posts.

Another of my pics selected by Canal Odisea. June 2012

Another of my pics was been selected by Canal Odisea for the #unaciudadtumirada daily challenge. This time, it has been a pic shot in Torrevieja, during the wonderful weekend we spent at I Congreso Instagramers #Torrevieja2012.

I would like to thank once more Canal Odisea for choosing one of my pictures. 

Otra de mis fotos ha sido seleccionada por Canal Odisea seleccionada para el concurso diario #unaciudadtumirada. Esta vez se trata de una foto hecha en Torrevieja, durante el maravilloso fin de semana pasado en el I Congreso Instagramers #Torrevieja2012.

One of my pics on Popular in 500px

I have recently opned an account in 500px, one of the best sites to submit good photographs. I have a free account in which I can submit up to 10 pics weekly. Today, I posted 10 of my favourite topics: Reflections on puddles. It has been a great success, but what did really surprise me most is that one of the photos reached Popular, and thanks to this, it has had over 1.700 visits, more than 300 likes, more than 100 comments and over 150 people have faved it. For me, it is a graet honor!

He abierto recientemente una cuenta en 500px, una d elas mejores webs para subir buenas fotografías. Tengo una cuenta gratuita, en la que puedo subir hasta 10 fotos por semana. Hoy he subido 10 de mi tema favorito: Reflejos en charcos. Ha sido un gran éxito, pero lo que más me ha sorprendido es que una de las fotos ha salido en Popular, y gracias a esto, ha tenido más de 1.700 visitas, más de 300 "me gusta", más de 100 comentarios y más de 150 personas la han señalado como "favorita". Para mí, ¡esto es un gran honor!

Spending one day at Príncipe Pío Mall. May 2012

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to Prícipe Pío Mall to spend the day, have lunch and then go to the cinema. This place is a beautiful old railway station turned into a new and modern mall. The original metalic strutures have been preserved, and it is very beautiful to see how the old, industrial architecture living in perfect harmony with the new and modern one.

Hace un par de semanas, fuimos mi familia y yo a pasar el día al C.C. Príncipe Pío, a comer y luego al cine. Este sitio es una preciosa y antigua estación de tren reconvertida en centro comercial. La estructura metálica original ha sido conservada, y es muy bonito ver cómo la antigual e industrial arquitectura vive en armonía con la nueva arquitectura.

Remembering Torrevieja 2012, what a glorious weekend

I still remember with nostalgy the great weekend that I spent at Torrevieja, during the I Congreso Instagramers. Those two days allowed me to meet the rest of FIE members which I had not met until those days, allowed me to meet new people, allowed me to see my pics exhibited at Sala "Buena Vista" and allowed to explain to every one why I love reflections so much. But Above all, it was a wonderful weeekend in which I had a great time.

I didn´t take many pictures, I must admit. Here they are:

Todavía recuerdo con nostalgia el gran fin de semana que pasé en Torrevieja, durante el I Congreso de Instagramers. Esos dos días me permitieron conocer al resto de miembros FIE que aún no conocía, me permitieron conocer gente nueva, me permitieron ver mis fotos expuestas en la Sala "Buena Vista", y ,e permitieron explicar a todo el mundo porqué amo tanto los reflejos. Pero sobre todo, fue un maravilloso fin de semana en el que me lo pasé muy bien.

No hice muchas fotos, debo admitir. Aquí presento algunas de ellas:
